Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

1.1 Booking Fee and Date Security

A **non-refundable booking fee of €250 is required to confirm and secure your date**. This fee compensates for administration, consultation, and the loss of ability to book other events for your date.
**This booking fee must be paid within seven (7) calendar days of receiving your booking confirmation** to finalize and secure your date. The date is not considered reserved until the fee is received.
The booking fee is credited towards your total package price.

1.2 Final Payment

The remaining balance of your agreed-upon package price is **due in full upon the arrival of DJ Matsey D at the event venue** on the date of performance.
**Payment is preferred and expected in Cash** to complete the final transaction.

1.3 Flexible Payment Options

We understand that wedding planning can be stressful, and keeping track of final payments can be challenging. To simplify your process, we offer a friendly, flexible payment solution:

You are welcome to **pay off any amount you choose, at any time**, between the date of booking confirmation and the day of your event.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, and we will update your outstanding balance immediately.
This plan helps you manage your budget and ensures the remaining balance due on the event day is minimized.

1.4 Add-on Availability (Ceremony Musicians)

Inquiries regarding optional add-ons, such as the female singer and keyboard player for the ceremony, are **strictly subject to the availability of the third-party musicians**.
**Their availability will be thoroughly checked by DJ Matsey D before any booking is confirmed or deposit is accepted** for the combined package. If the musicians are unavailable, the Client may proceed with the DJ Matsey D package only.

2. Cancellation Policy and Fees

Due to the nature of securing a specific date for your event, all cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

The initial **€250 booking fee is non-refundable** under all circumstances. This fee is an administrative fee for work carried out and time reserved at the time of booking.
**Cancellation 90 or more days prior to the event date:** Only the initial €250 booking fee is retained.
**Cancellation less than 90 days (3 months) prior to the event date:** A cancellation fee equivalent to **50% of the remaining package balance** is required. This fee covers significant preparation, administration, and lost revenue opportunity incurred in the final stages of the planning process.

3. Service Delivery and Requirements

3.1 Venue and Setup

The Client is responsible for ensuring the event venue has the required electrical power supply and appropriate safety clearances for the DJ and equipment.
A secure, dry, and level performance area must be provided.

3.2 Media and Promotional Rights

The DJ will, where possible, capture short video clips and photographs during the event. **These media files will be sent to the Client within seven (7) days of the event.**
The Client grants the DJ the right to use a selection of this media for promotional purposes, including use on the DJ's website and social media channels. If the Client requires a total ban on photography or video recording, this must be requested in writing at the time of booking.

3.3 Force Majeure and Substitution

In the unlikely event that DJ Matsey D is unable to perform due to severe illness, unforeseen injury, or catastrophic equipment failure, the Client will be immediately notified.
**Commitment to Service:** DJ Matsey D maintains a network of trusted and reliable professional DJs and will utilize all reasonable efforts to secure a qualified substitute DJ to cover the performance on the agreed terms.
If a mutually acceptable substitute cannot be secured, liability is strictly limited to a **full refund of all monies paid** (including the booking fee).
DJ Matsey D accepts no liability for consequential damages or losses incurred by the Client due to the inability to perform.

3.4 Music Submissions Deadline

All final music requests, including core party playlists and dedicated song lists, must be submitted a minimum of **four (4) weeks (28 days) before the event date**.
**For packages including the ceremony musicians (female singer and keyboard player):** The final song list and any necessary sheet music/arrangements must be submitted a minimum of **six (6) weeks (42 days) before the event date** to allow for coordination and rehearsal time with the third-party performers.
Submissions received after the relevant deadline may not be guaranteed.
